BISHALGARH / AGARTALA, July 16 (TIWN): SP Sephanijala Kulwant Singh has termed the whole incident of Bishalgarh clash on July 11 as “Unrealted to Politics”, “Unrelated to Communal issue”, rather it was a clash between two neighbours with land issues where two persons on both sides were injured heavily, which developed with “Various colours” later.

On July 12, state condemned an attack upon daily newspaper after a group of youths marched protests against a news.

According to the news, a local Farid Mia and his wife, daughter attacked by BJP supporters at Bishalgarh and following that news, a protest was held on National Highway without police permission .

 Ofcourse, such open protests on National Highway with miking was never experienced in Tripura earlier. TIWN also condemned the attack upon Press.

Soon, the people who protested they have contacted TIWN alleging that the total news was fake and rather a Hindu family  was attacked by Muslim people at there led by Farid Mia who want to grab lands of people at there. 

TIWN has contacted SP at there Kulwant Singh also mentioned him about the complain and the chronological incident. According to SP’s statement, there was no communal issue at all in that incident and both groups met in clash, later it was given a “colour”.

“Two neighbours Farid Mia and Tapas Ghsoh met in a clash regarding their land issues and nobody’s house was burnt but all happened during the incident only. Two persons were injured Farid Mia & Ranjit Ghosh in that incident from both sides and both were hospitalized”, Singh told TIWN.

“We are also working on that facebook post which is getting viral triggering communal issues, but the whole incident was due to a clash between neighbours”, he added.

In facebook, reports have come with video where injured Ranjit Ghosh is alleging that because he is Hindu and left Home during terrorism era, on that time some Muslims like Farid Mia had occupied his house and last he burnt his house and beaten Ranjit Ghosh brutally.

But in the total incident two persons were injured and it developed with land issues and also illegal occupation of lands. Locals alleged due to Farid Mia all neighbours are peacless, few have alleged him for being involved in smuggling like activities .
