UDAIPUR / AGARTALA, July 14 (TIWN): BJP Govt soon will dedicate a Haj Bhawan for Muslims, which may be done before the next Haj-yatra.

On Sunday, State Govt has dedicated a progarmme for Haj-goers.  At Udaipur a programme was conducted under SDM Subashish Banerjee.

Tourism Minister Pranajit Singha Roy was present as the Chief Guest of the programme.

During the programme it had been announced that the Haj Bhawan may be inaugurated in this month, before the devotees’ departure.

Many items have been gifted to the Haj-goers including travel bags.

Minister Pranajit Singha Roy has wished for their safe journey. Total 150 people are going for Haj this time. 

Haj is the greater Muslim pilgrimage to Mecca, which takes place in the last month of the year and which all Muslims are expected to make at least once during their lifetime if they can afford to do so. It is one of the Five Pillars of Islam.
