AGARTALA, June 13 (TIWN): Tripura’s ICAT (Information & Cultural Affairs) & Police Dept’s Media wings role under scanner as State Govt campaign against ‘rumour mongering’ yet to reach masses across Tripura. Everyday violence continues by rumour mongers, even Minister Ratan Lal Nath is caught red handed in video for spreading FAKE News on so called ‘Kidney Smugglers’ on June 26, when one 11 years boy Purna Biswas was killed brutally in Mohanpur. The Minister after Purna Biswas's death said his kidney has been taken away by killers. As soon as one more person Anjan Dey was beaten with false allegation of child lifting on Friday, Tripura netizens are scared whether Biplab Deb’s Home Ministry once again will disconnect internet facilities in state.

 About the incident no proper statement has been received but fire brigade employees ran from the spot when public were angry which led mass anger among media persons too and the fire brigade officer faced tough situations while answering media questions. 

On June 28 Tripura faced internet and sms service suspension which continued for long 72 hours, followed by 3 killings in mob violence in child-lifter allegations. In this situation when on yesterday one person was beaten at Belonia and another today at Agartala Bordowali netizens are in tension if situation becomes worse then internet will be suspended once again.

The incident took place in front of Bordowali school when a local Anjan Dey, S/O-Ashit Chandra Dey went in Bordowali school for a contractual work purpose. When he was coming out of the school he saw few men are escaping and guardians are running here and there. Without understanding anything Anjan Dey also ran from the spot but suddenly guardians caught him and beaten him heavily.

Anjan Dey said, the bike belong to his father who is working as Home Guard under state govt.

The unruly guardians further told media that the a child lifter has shown knife to the children. Anjan challenged to take him to the children and ask whether he was that person or not. However, after the primary interrogation police will release Anjan. Anjan is  a local boy of Bordowali often come to this school in search of work.

Law and order in last four months have faced several security threats including attacks upon the fourth pillar of democracy. On yesterday, locals of Bishalgarh without police’s permission raised slogan against one of most popular newspaper with voice of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Joy’.
