AGARTALA, July 12 (TIWN): Massive fire has burnt few shops here in Agartala on Thursday evening.

The incident took place at Kalyani, near Math Chowmuhani when due to short circuit fire sparked in a shop at there.

Within few minutes the fire flames started expanding and nearby shops were affecting one by one.

Locals had immediately informed fire brigade about the incident.

Getting informed two engines of fire brigade rushed to the spot and controlled the fire. Huge losses of two shop-keepers were informed, whereas the loss yet to be measured.
