AGARTALA, July 12 (TIWN): As Assam Govt has decided to regularize SSA teachers, Tripura SSA teachers have also demanded to be regularized.

However, the demand of regularization is not new, but since CPI-M Govt’s era the SSA teachers are demanding to be regularized.

In the latest notification, one Assam Teachers Union has announced, “The Minister of Education has informed that the contractual teachers working under SSA shall be regularized. Against regular vacancies on priority basis as per existing rules and procedure and as per the NCTE norms. As regard of those arrears and contractual teachers, the Mission Director, SSA has been instructed to examine the matter and if they are actually entitled, necessary steps to be taken for releasing the amount”.

After the notification, Tripura SSA teachers said, “Assam govt has decided to employees but our state govt of Tripura is indifferent attitude in this matter”.
