AGARTALA, July 11 (TIWN): Recently Tripura BJP-IPFT Govt’s single woman cabinet Minister Santana Chakma came in local media limelight marking her as ‘Non-performer’ alleging ‘Zero-Development’ in Social Welfare Dept, has made impossible thing as possible which since 9 years of Manik Sarkar’s Govt could not be done, neither Biplab Deb’s cabinet's any other Minister could get any overnight success like her.
Tripura Veterinary College which was established in 2009 was running anyhow with temporary registrations. Constant media reports, students protests also couldn’t make it possible which turned worst since last two years when passed out students were unable to appear in the TPSC exams as their College turned ‘unrecognized’ even though all students had to crack joint entrance to get admission.
The passed out students went at the stage of frustration, left without much hopes anymore. Santana Chakma visited the College two times and also ordered infrastructure development for it.
On yesterday she confirmed the VCI-recognition which was almost a surprise for the students.
Today Santana Chakma received a grand welcome at Agartala Airport by College students and the Professors after she arrived here marking a successful Delhi visit.
