KHOWAI, July 11 (TIWN): 21 Assam Rifles organised Cleanliness drive under " Swachh Bharat Abhiyan" and distributed solar lamps at Gournagar Khowai.

Locals showed great enthusiasm  in the cleanliness drive and pledged to keep their village clean and green.   A lecture on hygiene and Sanitation was also organised to mark the event.

70 solar lamps were distributed to families.

The efforts of  Assam Rifles  got tremendous appreciation from one and all.
