AGARTALA, July 9 (TIWN): After CPI-M General Secretary Sitaram Yechury condemned the killing of stone pelters at Kashmir during his one day visit in Tripura on Sunday, state BJP on Monday has raised doubt on Yechury’s nationalism sense.
Slamming Sitaram Yechury, BJP leader Pratima Bhowmik said, “CPI-M was and will be an anti-national party, who always thinks about the attackers, terrorists but they don’t shed tears for Indian armies”.
“On yesterday Sitaram Yechury insulted armies by suggesting them not to throw bullet over them but hardly he talks for Indian armies anytime. Does he know how many soldiers were killed at Kashmir ?”, Bhowmik told media.
The issue came after CPI-M General Secretary Sitaram Yechury had expressed extreme resentments against the shooting at Jammu & Kashmir by troops.
Yechury said, “They could throw tear gas but why bullets ? Shooting stone pelters with bullet is anti-democratic”.
