AGARTALA, July 6 (TIWN): Union Minister of State for Railways Rajen Gohain on Friday on the historical occasion flag-off ceremony of Agartala-Deoghar express said, “A full train passenger its first ever journey itself was remarkable”.

The Minister said only 22 seats were left vacant whereas all other seats had been booked.

Rajen Ghohain also said that the train inauguration on the occasion of Shyama Prasad Mukharjee’s birth anniversary has been a double celebration for the party and the people.

Agartala-Deoghar Express has been flagged off on Friday at 2.32 pm by Union Minister of State for Railways Rajen Gohain in the presence of BJP State Observer Sunil Deodhar, Chief Minister Biplab Deb, Transport Minister Pranajit Singha Roy, MP Jharna Das Baidya, MP Shankar Prasad Datta, Chief Secretary Sanjeev Ranjan and other MLAs and dignitaries who attended the programme.
