‘Work culture slightly improved in schools following our constant visits’, claims Education Minister

AGARTALA, July 5 (TIWN): Tripura Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath on Thursday also visited various schools in Agartala and took certain decisions for further upgradation and actions on teachers negligence. At Maharani Tulshibati school, Ratan Lal Nath also served notices to teachers following teachers' negligence in duties. Visiting schools Ratan Lal Nath said, work culture has slightly developed in many schools following our constant visits. However, we are yet far from the target and may more have to be done. But at least teachers have become alert after the visits”. Nath said, such visits will be continued in coming days to control the idleness inside the schools. Education Minister also asked state’s teachers to take training from various media publications and to take interest what the Govt actually wants from them.

Education Minister started his surprise visits recently across state schools. Ahead of Ministers visits there were District-wise visits of state officials of the Education dept. Many show-cause notices have been served after their negligence were spotted in duties.

Ratan Lal Nath earlier said, Tripura schools neither have quality or quantity of teachers.

On Thursday Ratan Lal Nath has visited Maharani Tulshibati school in Agartala, which is famous for extra-populated teachers.
