SABROOM, July 5 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb is scheduled to visit his state’s lynching victim artists Sukanta Chakraborty’s house at Sabroom and to meet his family members.

Sukanta Chakraborty was brutally killed on June 29 at Sabroom subdivision’s Kalachara area by violent mob followed by rumour-episodes of child lifters in Tripura.

The incident took place in 29^th June afternoon when he was busy in awareness campaigning at Kalachara of Sabroom under SDM at there. The awareness campaigning was against “rumour mongering” which was rapidly spreading violence in the state.

During campaining huge numbers of people gheraoed the whole team and in that incident Sukanta Chakraborty died in front of police personnel.

Total 3 persons have been killed in mob-violence across Tripura. Govt had suspended internet, sms service for 72 hours following the incident.
