AGARTALA, July 4 (TIWN): NC Debbarman led IPFT today has suspended one of its topmost leaders from the party for anti-party activity.

The suspended leader is Balaram Debbarma, Organizing Secretary of the Central Executive Committee.

In a press release, Mangal Debbarma, IPFT Assistant General Secretary has said, “On the serious allegation of continuously indulging anti-party activities followed by appropriate action being contemplated by the Disciplinary Committee of the party (IPFT) Balaram Debbarma is hereby placed under suspension with immediate affect under Art No-5 of the constitution until further order”.

“IPFT will be under compulsion to contest both of the Parliamentary constituency in the next general election to Lok Sabha 2019 provided that the door will be opened for dialogue for probable electoral understanding / alliance with any other political party”, Debbarma said.
