AGARTALA / UDAIPUR, July 3 (TIWN): An FIR has been lodged against at least 5 BJP activists for attacking Trinamool supporters at Udaipur on Monday evening.

The FIR was lodged in R K Pur Police Station against 5 BJP activists : 1) Sanjib Das, 2) Pritam Datta, 3) Sagar Das, 4) Sunny Chowdhury, 5) Prasenjit Ghosh.

Trinamool media cell President Sandip Chakraborty said, Trinamool activists were coming from Agartala to Udaipur on Monday afternoon via TR01AU0405.

As soon as the vehicle reached at Rajarbag bus stand, with sharp weapons they attacked the Trinamool activists and also allegedly pelted brick on their vehicle.

At the same time, they were threatening to kill them if any party activity is being proceeded here. Also they were slamming West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee with harsh words.

Around 30 to 35 BJP activists were seen but all couldn’t be identified.
