AGARTALA, June 27 (TIWN): Lameduck State Administration chosen media bashing rather than enforcing Law & Order to stop frequent murders by criminals. Tripura's new Chief Minister Biplab Deb yet to show his skills on handling Home Ministry, rather relying upon CPI-M spy Dilip Roy type corrupt friend-circles to run State’s Law & Order. In Secretariat few weeks back, media persons were not allowed to enter CM's corridor immediately after the govt was formed and it was done by none other than but OSD Dilip Roy and now when police, media are jointly working against anti-social elements and drugs DGP A K Shukla's hard words may turn badly against Biplab Deb led Home Ministry in coming days. In Manik Sarkar’s time, when IPFT-BJP were the oppositions, DGP A K Shukla used to deliver same warning against 'rumour mongering'. At the end of 2017, Tripura Police almost turned enemy of major section of state media amid continuous murders, IPFT led violence like situations led CBI demand in each murder case.

With the Govt has been changed in Tripura, state police started anti-drug movements across the state and when the public-police relation was in better way, suddenly “rumours” has once again become a major threat.

DGP A K Shukla has reacted with sharp warning against media using words like “fake news” likely to generate bitterness with media in coming days as these news were written from local people's allegation and also BJP Law Minister Ratan lal Nath’s statement. Main issue is, without "Kidney taken away" phrase using also same reactions public were to give as after all the boy was killed brutally followed by other murders.

DGP A K Shula has shown unnecessary anger upon media saying “fake news” whereas 90 % media have covered the “kidney taken” allegation and this news was based on allegations also from responsible person as Law Minister of the state.

If “kidney taken” word was skipped then also same reaction people would had given, just they gave in case Milan Chakra area’s medical representative Biswajit Pal’s murder. By giving warnings particularly to media, instead of any political party once again proves somebody is working hard to make Police and Media relations worse.

In Manik Sarkar’s time due to rumour monging by oppositions Home Ministry had cut internet for two times.

However, in a press conference DGP A K Shukla also has asked people to stay away from taking laws in hand. Hence there is no arrest yet in Mohonpur and Kashipur murder cases. Police is investigating all the cases. .
