DHARMANAGAR, June 27 (TIWN): After Mihir Deb was arrested one more oil mafia has been arrested in Dharmanar in journalist Suman Debnath murder attempt case on Wednesday.

The arrested person has been identified as Mukib Mia, elder brother of Simin Mia. However, Simin Mia could not be arrested yet.

Dharmanagar OC-Benu Madhav Dey said, police will arrest more in coming days related to the case. However, the main accused Simin Mia is still absconding.

A source said that Chief Minister Biplab Deb has targeting to end oil-mafia raj within a month.

Suman Debnath was brutally attacked by an Oil Mafia Simin Ahmed in a Halal style to slice throat. The incident took place on June 18 night at around 10.45 pm night when Suman was retuning from Shanichara. As soon as when Suman reached Indian Oil Depo Simin Mia called him and requested him to go inside the vendor. After entering the shop he attacked Suman with sharp weapon.

Along with him, another Mihir Deb was present any anyhow Suman survived himself and rushed to Dharmanagar District hospital.
