AGARTALA, June 26 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister cum Home Minister Biplab Deb on Tuesday on the occasion of “International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking†said, Tripura will be freed from all drug-business and nobody will be spared in the business including political leaders of any party either ruling or opposition.
CM said this today, following yesterday’s Assembly which heated up with drug business related talks and Chief Minister there also promised that soon Tripura will become an addiction-free state and police is working in that direction.
CM also thanked DGP A K Shula and state’s all police officials who are now day/night working to curb drug-business.
A massive rally was conducted in the capital city led by police, BSF, CRPF, TSR with banners of “Anti-Drug” move.
