AGARTALA, June 25 (TIWN): Assembly data on Monday has revealed total 124 murders took place in Tripura in 2017.

However, the crime rate has been shown in down as total 145 murders occurred in 2016 and total 144 murders in 2015.

In rape cases, 183 cases have been registered in 2017, in 2016 total 207 rapes and in 2015 rape cases numbers are 213.

In molestation total 260 cases came out in the last year, whereas in dowry total 339 cases recorded in last year.

Total 117 numbers of kidnapping cases were registered in various police station in last year.
