AGARTALA, June 23 (TIWN): To give boost in state tourism to develop tourism-industry, dying Trishna Wildlife Sanctuary at Southern Tripura to be reshaped to boost tourism.
Trishna Wildlife Sanctuary is a Wildlife Sanctuary in Tripura, which covers an area of about 163.08 square kilometres. This sanctuary is situated in South Tripura District is famous for Bison and natural surroundings.
On the 4th day of Tripura Assembly Tripura Tourism Minister Pranajit Singha Roy hitting the previous CPI-M Govt said, “Tourists spots in Tripura have left in miserable shape followed by a long regime of a same govt in Tripura”.
“Various sanctuaries as South Tripura’s Trishna are almost dying. Before they die we need to recover them and rebuild them”, Roy said.
The Minister also claimed that Banga-Bandhu park at Belonia Chottakhola need to be renovated.
