SONAMURA, June 22 (TIWN): With another successful drive under Sepahijala District police, 900 kilo of ganja were seized from a house at Sonamura. Police have also arrested one person in this connection.

The raid was done in a house at Batadola area under Sonamura subdivision along with a vehicle number TR90 1537 and huge packets of ganjas were seized.

The raid was done since 6 PM to night 8 pm on Friday led by Sepahijala SP Kulwant Singh along with BSF and CRPF jawans.

Bisramganj Police Headquarter DSP Sishir Das, Bishalgarh SDPO Mihir Lal Das, Sonamura SDPO Rajdeep Deb, Sonamura PS OC-Paritosh Das were also present in the raid.

Police said, such raids will be continued in coming days.
