‘Teachers crisis in Tripura Schools’ : Education Minister

AGARTALA, June 22 (TIWN): Tripura Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath on Friday has expressed concerns about the ongoing teachers crisis in state's schools.
However right now around 200 teachers were reported as TET qualified, whereas 500 teachers are urgently needed, said Education Minister.
“The teachers crisis has become a major factor which is halting quality Education”, he claimed.
Also Ratan Lal Nath mentioned that along with quality, quality of teachers are also lacking.
Recently Tripura Govt had begged relaxation at Supreme Court for terminated 10323 teachers for more 2 years issuing the ongoing teachers crisis in state.
From this year Tripura Govt has also launched same to same syllabus as NCERT.
