AGARTALA, June 22 (TIWN): Amid Tripura Food Dept’s warning against ‘plastic flour’ myths, the fear among people continues leading massive rejection of ration-shop’s wheat-flours by public.
Today customers of 166 no-ration shop at Agartala Bhattapukur area have alleged that plastic wheat flours were served to them.
On behalf of the customers a group of people called media claiming them as plastic wheat.
Tripura Director of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Dr Debasish Basu earlier had given a strict warning against the propaganda about rubber and plastic mixed flour.
The Director said that protein item gluten is mixed with flour which makes the food item healthy.
However, customers of Bhattapukur area are no more interested to buy wheat from that ration shop.
