AGARTALA, June 19 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb has marked the budget as ‘historical’ with Zero-deficit.

Addressing media after budget was placed, Chief Minister thanked PM Modi, Arun Jaitely, State Finance Minister Jishnu Debbarma.

Talking to the media persons, CM said, “You also must feel proud that Tripura first time has placed a budget which is self-dependent. The previous govt was only struck at 1528 crores of budget whereas, BJP Govt has covered up it and added more with that”.

“Not only BJP Govt covered up the previous budget, but keeping 7^th pay commission’s fund the govt has presented a budget at zero deficit”, CM said.

“This is like a dream comes true. I thank to Deputy CM Jishnu Debbarma and PM Modi, Arun Jaitley for making the budget a successful and making 7^th pay commission fulfilled”, he added.

Only upcoming days will tell whether these claims are really a ‘DREAM’ or self ‘DRUMMING’.
