AGARTALA, June 18 (TIWN): Two arrested persons have been produced before the court in their alleged connection shot out incident which took place on Sunday at Chandrapur.

Airport Police have arrested those two in connection of their alleged involvements in yesterday’s shoot out at Chandrapur  in which Debabrata Dasgupta (37) was critically injured.

Two arrested persons are : 1) Ramu Ghosh (38) of Aralia and 2) Bijju Ray under NCC police station. Victim Debabrata is also a resident of Aralia. 

The shooting incident on Sunday has hit capital city Agartala with one 33 years person left seriously injured at GB hospital. The incident took place at Chandrapur at around 1.15 pm.

Police have arrested them after being informed via secret sources. Senior police officials have interrogated these two arrested persons and then sent them for court. 

However, reason behind the firing has not been known yet.
