BISHALGARH, June 16 (TIWN): Firecrackers worth Rs. 8 lakhs have been seized by police at Bishalgarh Indo-Bangla border during Eid.

In a joint drive by Bishalgarh subidivision’s police and administration the raid was held at Kamalasagar’s Chowdhury Tila area.

A vehicle bearing No-TR01 1847 was smuggling the firecrackers ahead of Eid. The raid was held at early morning 3 am today. 

However, police couldn’t arrest the driver yet.
