UDAIPUR, June 14 (TIWN): A housewife was brutally tortured, beaten by her in-law’s family members.

The victim has lodged a case against her in-laws family members.

The victim Basanti Ghosh has complained, since her marriage she was being tortured by her family members for dowry.

Recently she was asked to arrange 50,000 rupees by her mother in law and other family members including her husband.

When she was unable to arrange that asked money, on last night she was beaten brutally.

A case was filed against husband-Babul Chandra Ghosh, brother in law-Pradip Ghosh and mother in law-Renu Bala Ghosh.

The case was filed after she was beaten and forced to leave the house, whereas her 2 years baby was kept by her husband.
