AGARTALA, June 14 (TIWN): At least 4 people died in Tripura in last two days and over 5000 families were affected due to the flood, landslides.

For each family faced death, Tripura Govt has announced Rs. 5 lakhs.

However, in West District no flood relief camp was opened. On yesterday complains came that even though the flood affected families came to take shelter in relief camps but for long they were not served with food.

However, when water level deceased the families returned home.

More raining is expected here, but till now the situation is under control.

Chief Minister Biplab Deb has visited Unakoti & North District flood affected areas, assured full help from the govt.
