AGARTALA / BISHALGARH, June 11 (TIWN): One power dept official died today in Tripura while working in line repairing tasks.

The incident took place at Bishalgarh subdivision’s Nehal Chadan-Nagar area.

Two workers of TSECL Manik Debnath and Ranjan Saha were working in this line repairing related work.

The transforming area was covered by bushes. One TSECL employee Ranjan Saha when was trying to pull the transformer he died on spot in short circuit.

When Manik Debnath tried to save him, he was also electrocuted.

However, Manik Debnath was saved from death, whereas Ranjan Saha died on spot.
