AGARTALA, June 7 (TIWN): Just after President of India Ram Nath Kovind lifted Tripura’s name saying, ‘I have been informed, Tripura respects women a lot’, a housewife was killed brutally Radhanagar in the evening.

The deceased has been identified as Sunati Das, W/O-Rakesh Das.At around 6 pm today, neighbours saw Sunati Das’s dead body at her home.

Getting informed police rushed to the spot and arrested deceased father-in-law Ranjit Das and mother-in-law Kajal Das.

Deceased husband Rakesh Das, who is by profession a tom-tom driver was in hide. Later, he was also arrested.

Locals informed, the family has a hotel business at Radhanagar named ‘Anjali Hotel’.
