AGARATALA, May 22 (TIWN): For the first time Vice President of India Venkaiah Naidu to visit Tripura tomorrow. Ahead of his arrival securities have been beefed up across the capital city.

Muppavarapu Venkaiah Naidu is the Vice-President of India, since 11 August 2017. 

Naidu will visit Tripura to attend the 11 convocation at Tripura University on May 23, 4 pm.

In a press conference, Tripura University Vice Chancellor Anjan Kumar Ghosh on Monday afternoon has confirmed the convocation programme to be inaugurated by Vice President of India Venkaiah Naidu.

Venkaiah Naidu  will chair the convocation progarmme as the Chief Guest. 

Tripura Governor Tathagata Roy, Chief Minister Biplab Deb also to be present on that occasion.
