AGARTALA, May 15 (TIWN): Tripura BJP Chief Minister Biplab Deb today visited Sepahijala Dist’s Uttar Paharpur village to check the problems of the villagers.

After visiting the Dist, the Chief Minister expressed extreme resentments saying, “No work was held in the last 25 years under the former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar”.

Addressing media at there, CM said, “In every week I visit a village with Chief Secretary and Dist Officials. It is now revealing, in last 25 years, in the name of development only loot-raj had been continued”.

“All the villages I visited across Tripura have left without any development. I am right now in the Ghosh Para of this North Paharpur but sad to see the condition of the villagers”, CM said.

“Where I am standing now, since 1947 this particular road is existing, but mateling is a matter of far-away, not a single brick was laid upon the road”, he said.

“Tender for the road was done but no work has started yet. This is the situation of Tripura following the 25 years of a same govt”, Biplab Deb said.

“The previous govt didn’t take any responsibility. I am unable to believe that due to road-less condition of the area marriage functions can’t be conducted at here. I am bound to say that the previous Chief Minister who is still the MLA of here didn’t do anything for the place, not even water-supply system was provided to the villagers”, CM added.
