UDAIPUR, May 5 (TIWN): Aligned IPFT has come in massive protest against the BJP Govt demanding release of their IPFT activists in BJP MLA attack incident, immediate solution of their local problems or to give Tipraland for the tribals. A road blockade has hit the Garji road at Udaipur led by IPFT today with local issues. BJP Minister Pranajit Singha Roy who was going towards South Tripura was blocked due to the road-blockade and thus returned from the spot. The IPFT since the birth was centering with a single demand that is a divided state Tipraland for the tribals. They are not ready to compromise with undivided Tripura as the majorities here are Bengalis.

However, before the election, IPFT’s President N C Debbarma and few more leaders held meeting with the BJP central leaders including Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and decided to align with BJP to defeat the CPI-M Govt.

There was a huge confusion during the election among the tribals that after BJP-IPFT Govt is formed, the govt will appeal for Tipraland to the central govt and pass a bill accordingly, whereas leaders from BJP state and central clearly said before the election that BJP doesn’t believe in land-division. 

From Party President Biplab Deb to Tripura BJP In-Charge Himanta Biswa Sarma all repeatedly said, "BJP believes in One-Tripura, i.e, Ek Tripura, Shreshtha Tripura".

BJP Govt has promised to give all kinds of facilities at ADC with its Sab-Ka-Sath, Sab-Ka-Bikas policy.

But the IPFT supporters today have come in massive protest, burnt woods and tires on road demanding the solution of their local problems. 

With all these, tensions have gripped the whole area at Garji. Tight security blanket has been covered the whole area.

IPFT has basically demanded the release of accused who attacked BJP MLA Burbumohan Tripura at Korbook.
