AGARTALA, May 5 (TIWN): 21 Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ 21 sector Assam rifles organised a friendly Volleyball match with Kathar Club at Thelakum today.

“The aim of organising the match was to motivate the Youth towards sports  and provide them an opportunity to display their skills. This friendly gesture of 21 Assam rifles was highly appreciated by one and all”, said Assam Rifles in a press note.

Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules with total 6 team members.

Much enthusiasm was observed among the players while participating in the match.
