Physical Education employees demand 7th Pay Commission

AGARTALA, May 4 (TIWN): Tripura Physical Education Employees Association members have placed deputation to the Chairman of the Expert Committee of Implementation of 7th Pay Commission in Tripura, demanding for their rights.

Their demands are :

  1. The pay of the Physical Education Teachers and Coaches in Tripura should be identical to that as granted by 7th CPC. For this, if necessary existing designation of the state to be modified,
  2. Eligible and successful players may be recruited as physical education teacher,
  3. Kits allowances may be provided monthly instead of present system,
  4. Sports stipend should be increased along with monthly contribution,
  5. In secondary school level (Class-XII) physical education subject to be introduced,
  6. Graduate Physical Instructors should be provided with BPEd training course with relaxation of marks,
  7. Under graduate physical instructor should be provided with CPEd training courses,
  8. P.h.D, M.Phil, MPEd should be posted in Colleges as Assistant professors,
  9. Training incentive should be provided to all Physical instructors,
  10. Permanent Headmaster may be posted in Tripura Sports School of Badharghat & Panisagar,
  11. Permanent Hostel facilities for men should be provided to the BPEd students of RCPE, Panisagar,
  12. Physical instructor may be posted in primary school level too,
  13. Transfer Policy should be implemented for all Physical Instructors,
  14. Refresher Course should be conducted to all physical instructor and coaches,
  15. 3 % reservation should be provided for meritorious sport person in all Govt services.
