AGARTALA, May 3 (TIWN): Agartala East Police Station in a drive against anti-social activists have arrested 3 mafias on Thursday from the city.

A raid was conducted in a house at Math Chowmuhani, where these three of the mafias were caught red-handed with a pistol.

Pistols, many mobile phones, drugs like items were recovered with them. Three of the accused were arrested by police and taken for inquiry.

On Friday three of them will be produced before the court.

In Math Chowmuhani and College Tilla area bike thefts have increased a lot. Police are investigating whether there are any connection of the three arrested persons with such incidents.
