AGARTALA, April 28 (TIWN): Govt job aspirant Tripura’s unemployed youths are with a long suspension in the interview process in various Govt Depts via TPSC. The jobs aspirants have alleged, whereas before the Election BJP said that there are 50,000 vacancies in various govt depts, but recently the Chief Minister of Tripura Biplab Deb said that 'Govt jobs are expenditure, a burden for the State Govt'. It has raised doubt whether the state govt is planning to curb the trend of govt jobs in Tripura ? The unemployed youths in a complain told TIWN, “The present govt after assuming power directed all the agencies to stop the ongoing recruitments as the govt will review’ the whole process and similar notice was sent to TPSC. It was expecting that Govt is going to take some action against the corrupt officials of TPSC and will abolish the interview cum viva test for the non gazetted posts, but now it is almost two months have been passed but the review yet to be ended.
They alleged, “It’s almost 6 to 8 months that no recruitment has taken place in Tripura and in last month the Chief Minister said that government job is nothing but expenditure. So, we are really worried whether they will recruit or continue without recruiting like the previous government . Does the govt want everybody to find a job in private sector ,which is presently absent in Tripura ?”
Question also raised, why the govt is only thinking about the teachers recruitment but not other depts. ?
“Before the election they said there are 50000 govt job vacancies in Tripura and if BJP wins they will recruit people first and rest will be in private jobs but after almost 2 months no action has been taken so far”, said the job aspirants.
