AGARTALA, April 25 (TIWN): Even though Manik Dey is no more an MLA, but he was seen entering the MLA hostel just 30 minutes before CBI had entered.

CBI had entered the MLA hostel at 2.24 pm to question CPI-M Ex-Minister Bijita Nath. MLA Badal Choudhury, Ex-Minister Manik Dey were seen entering before CBI had entered. 

For a long time CBI had grilled the Ex-Minister Bijita Nath and questioned to probe her involvement in that scam, whether was true or not.

But Ex-Minister Manik Dey’s entry has triggered question, whether CBI has also called him in Rose Valley chit fund scam, as he is no more an MLA to reside here in the MLA hostel.

Rose Valley had successfully opened at least 14 lakhs of bank account in tiny state out of its 36 lakhs population during 1999 to 2013. This has termed by the opposition as a major economic landslide under the CPI-M Govt in Chief Minister Manik Sarkar’s regime.
