AGARTALA, April 21 (TIWN): BJP has hit opposition leader Manik Sarkar after he demanded a bungalow for him near Sishubihar school and SUV car.

BJP spokesman Mrinal Kanti Deb told media today, "Whereas Manik Sarkar claims himself as an honest political leader and across the nation, he has been propagating about his being-poor image, his demands of bungalow and car have exposed him finally. His demands are also unmatched with the ideology of the Communists, which claims to be poor people’s party". 

“Manik Sarkar’s demands have proven himself as a lavish living cultured person rather than his train journeys myths for showoffs. Since the beginning BJP was claiming about this particular reality behind Manik Sarkar’s poor image and BJP’s claims have been proven as true now”, the BJP spokesman said.

Manik Sarkar in a letter wrote to the Secretary of Tripura Legislative Assembly, “I would like to draw you attention to the fact that I am in need of a befitting Residential quarter since I have no permanent residence”.
