AGARTALA, April 15 (TIWN): CPI-M Ex-Minister Badal Choudhury has claimed that the E-tender was launched by CPI-M Govt, not BJP.
"Recently through various media houses it was propagated that E-tender was launched by BJP Govt, but it is totally wrong. E-tender was launched by CPI-M Govt and BJP Govt has decided to continue it", Badal Choudhury said.
Addressing the workshop, Jishnu Debbarma said, "Above 3 lakhs there should be e-tenders and the govt has framed these are rules for the transperency".
Asking all the departments to focus on e-tendering, Jishnu Debbarma announced, "Right now the PWD is most active in e-business".
"The non-transparency shouldn't be the way of working and also our govt believes in total 100 % transparency", he added.
