At the same time the problems of the TSR camps will be diminished". "Govt is aware about the ongoing problems faced by the TSR jawans across camps. Our Govt is visionary and will take actions to sort out the problems", Biplab Deb said. CM after attending the blood donation camp also walked around the TSR 10 Bn Headquarter. Earlier it was claimed by Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb about the new Battalions, "Setting up of Indian Reserve (IR) Battalions of State Armed Police Force for Tripura will generate direct employment about 2200 youth".
However, when the Chief Minister mentioned about the recruitment, it was not made clear that whether the two years of pending recruitment under TSR will be cleared or not. On March 24 all unemployed youths had gathered at Astabol Stadium and Circuit house aimed to meet the new Chief Minister with their demands of faster appointments. The youths told media that with the 2 years like pending. Whether many of them are becoming overage, but no proper solution to the issue came.
However, CM today has not made the issue clear whether the 2 years of pending recruitment will be cleared or not.
