AGARTALA, April 11 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb has demanded the sanctioning of funds for flood management at the earliest.
In NITI Aayog meeting Tripura CM Biplab Deb said, “The balance fund of central share of Rs. 2.59 crore for 10 number completed schemes and Rs. 1.12 crore for the other scheme is yet to be released, which were taken-up during XII plan. Moreover, 3-FMP project was sanctioned during XI Plan period for protection of river bank at different vulnerable locations of Haora, Gomati and Khowai river for an amount of Rs. 42.96 crore, Rs. 54.99 crore and Rs. 91.03 crore respectively”.
“Implementation of these projects was taken up but due to non-release of central share, the dept compelled to stop the execution”, Tripura CM’s this comment has exposed central govt didn’t allocate the fund during CPI-M regime.
