AGARTALA, April 10 (TIWN): The project of “Capacity Building in IT and Digital Services (including Digital Payment and GST)†for State Government Officials of North Eastern Statesâ€, an initiative under Science & Technology Interventions in North Eastern Region (STINER) supported by Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region, Government of India and implemented by National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT), was today dedicated by Dr Jitendra Singh, Minister of State (IC), Development of NER in the presence of Dr Rajiv Kumar, Vice Chairman, NITI Aayog during the 1st Meeting of NITI Forum held today at Conference Hall, State Guest House, Agartala.
Rajiv Kumar, Director General, NIELIT; Th. Prameshwor Singh, Executive Director, NIELIT Imphal; K. Baruah, Director, NIELIT Guwahati; N. Debachandra Singh, Director, NIELIT Aizawl; Anurag Mathur, Director In-charge, NIELIT Agartala; L. Lanuwabang, Director In-charge, NIELIT Kohima Santanu Borgohain, Director Incharge, NIELIT Shillong were also present during the ceremony.
The web portal of the project available at the url www.doner-mis.nielit.in which has been developed by the Software Development Team of NIELIT Agartala was launched during the ceremony and Ashish Gupta, Scientist-C, NIELIT Agartala and Binoy Das, Technical Officer, NIELIT Agartala were appreciated with certificates during the ceremony by Shri Jitendra Singh, MoS(IC), Development of NER. Government officials of different departments who completed the training under the project were also given participation certificates by the Minister of State (IC) , Development of NER.
