AGARTALA, March 21 (TIWN): Tripura’s new Chief Minister Biplab Deb has broken protocol in his second press conference at Secretariat as during his press conference at there, CM has attacked CPI-M General Secretary Sitaram Yechury.

“Sitaram Yechury before few days said that Tripura can not generate enough revenues. The state has no such environment and setting, but it’s absolutely wrong. Tripura has heavy potentialities”, said CM.

"The former Govt brought prizes for MGNREGA works, but the reality is just pathetic than the awards. The fund releasing under RD was 2000 crore earlier, which later downed to 1000 crore and after that dropped at 500 crore. Earlier 25 parameters were shown in MGNREGA reports, whereas after Geo-tagging, 23 out of them resulted as fake parameters", CM said. 

“In the name of MGNREGA works only Dhopla-Baji has been done in Tripura’, he said.

However, after CM mentioned political leader’s name in Govt press conference, criticism has sparked.
