AGARTALA, March 20 (TIWN): Two weeks have been passed that the BJP Govt started its work for Northeast Tripura but Centre’s Fund allocations still not clear. Two press conferences were done to tell the people how much of damages CPI-M has done in last 5 years especially. Infact Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Debbarma has expressed his shocks how CPI-M Govt hided the financial deficits, whereas the same Secretary M Nagaraju who was exposing CPI-M’s misdeeds accompanying BJP Minister, he himself earlier was accompanying Manik Sarkar, Bhanu Lal Saha to ‘hide’ the fiscal deficits. On the other side, Manik Sarkar never hided anything, rather he was constantly alleging that due to NITI Aayog Tripura was facing Rs. 2000 crores of losses per annum. Question arises, why so much of suspension ? Why two times public were told about the losses ? It's BJP which made big-big promises to come in power, but why now public are dumping with their own headaches ?

All Northeast states funded with 90 : 10 fund-division as the area is backward due to various reasons.

If the leaders are going to Delhi and begging funds from own party’s govt, this is none of Tripura People’s business. It should be fully the headache of BJP State Govt, how they will fulfill their promises, but it shouldn’t be shown as ‘Delhi Charity’.

Tripura’s poor revenue generation is not new. BJP National leaders also time to time exposed that Tripura’s revenue income is lowest in the country. The why now BJP leaders are expressing shocks over the revenues ?

But at the same time, with the passage of times it’s also becoming clear that the fund either for pay commission or for non-plan expenditure, since the NITI Aayog's invention it was curbed. Now, the Central Govt is 'bound' to allocate ‘extra’ fund for Tripura, which is just because BJP has come in power with those policies.

Allocating the demanded fund should not be seen as a 'charity' to the Northeastern state Tripura, rather it was Arun Jaitley's Vision Document helped BJP to unseat the Left Govt. Moreover, it was Arun Jaitley himslef who unfolded the vision document at Agartala. Hence, public is hoping without anymore set of meetings and flying to Delhi, the fund will be cleared and the big-big promises of the Modi Govt will be fulfilled to implement 'acche din'.
