TIWN March 11, 2018
AGARTALA, March 11 (TIWN): The defeated CPI-M led by Sitaram Yechury today has claimed, "After BJP won the election, democracy has been lost and many properties of public, party were occupied by the BJP".
"This is not democracy, this is autocracy under BJP Govt. In democracy one party wins, one loses, but it doesn't mean that the winner party will attack upon people's rights", said Yechury.
"Across Tripura even housewives are threatening for donations and BJPs are telling them if your husband doesn't give that much of money, future of you and your daughter will not go well", said Yechury.
"Most importantly we would request the new Chief Minister to take care of such issues. The offices and properties have been occupied, must be released soon. Right to property is a fundamental right and the BJP Govt can't violate the constitution", said Yechury.
The CPI-M leader also expressed disappointments on media for not highlighting CPI-M's news and the violence related news.
