AGARTALA, March 10 (TIWN): With the swearing-in programme of Tripura’s new Govt under Chief Minister Biplab Deb has begun, National BJP President Amit Shah said that Tripura which is already under Northeast-developmental roadmap, will undergo a massive development under the new BJP Govt. Addressing the gathering, Shah said, “I thank the people of Tripura for choosing BJP as their Govt. I assure you, our team led by Biplab Deb will bring prosperities in Tripura and soon the state will emerge as a model state”.“People of Tripura have been waiting for the day for a long time to see development, prosperity and peace in the state. I fully believe that our new team will work in that way and fulfill Prime Minister’s mission of Northeast development”, said Shah.

“Since Prime Minister Modi is there, across the Northeast development’s paths have been widened. Since the independence even though budgets were allocated, but it never took developmental move and today after the BJP Govt has been formed the path of development in Tripura has been opened”, he said.

“This is a historical day and from today Tripura will go through a new direction... a movement of development will come. I believe the way PM Modi is concerned for Northeast's development, our new leaders will also equally work with the same mission", added Shah.

“Modi ji has focused on Northeast development since he became the Prime Minister. Budget has been multiplied….not a single state is there, where PM Modi has not gone”.

“Northeast’s all meetings used to conduct at Delhi since Morarji Desai became the Prime Minister. He joined Northeast council meeting at Shillong and after Morarji Desai, it’s PM Modi to join the meeting”, Shah mentioned.

“I believe, Biplab Deb led Tripura Govt will follow PM Modi’s footsteps of Northeast Development”, Amit Shah said.
