AGARTALA, March 8 (TIWN): One day before the swearing-in programme of the BJP Govt, the designated CM Biplab Deb, BJP General Secretary Ram Madhab have met Manik Sarkar at the Melarmath Party Office in the evening. Earlier Biplab Deb had sought Manik Sarkar's blessing by touching his feet and today also these two BJP leaders have met the Chief Minister in the swearing-in programme. Manik Sarkar who has been shifted from Chief Minister's residence to Melarmath Party Office has welcomed the BJP delegates with smiling face and folding hands. The BJP leaders also talked to the CM personally and went inside the party office, where media were not allowed. Other CPI-M leaders as Bijan Dhar also welcomed the BJP delegates in the party office. Manik Sarkar, Badal Choudhury and others ex-Ministers to attend the Biplab Deb led BJP Govt's swearing-in ceremony tomorrow whereas, CPI-M to boycott the swearing-in ceremony of BJP CM and Ministers.
Noteworthy, Manik Sarkar, the Chief Minister of Tripura for long 20 years has finally left CM's residence for his 2nd innings of life with wife Panchali Bhattacharjee.
The comrade, politburo Manik Sarkar was not unhappy at all while leaving the CM's residence. From today his residence is Melarmath party Office and rest of the life Sarkar will be serving for the Marxists.
From now, CM will be residing at Melarmath Party Office's 3rd floor located room and on the other side BJP State President Biplab Deb along with his family to enter the CM's quarter.
The name of Marx Angeles Soroni may also be changed as the left vessel will not land there anymore, at least for next 5 years.
Manik Sarkar is an Indian politician who served as the Former Chief Minister of Tripura from March 1998 to March 2018. He is a Politburo Member of Communist Party of India.
