AGARTALA, Feb 4 (TIWN): With the arrival of Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Tripura BJP has kicked off its 'Vijay Ratha Yatra'.

The 'Vijay Ratha Yatra' had started after Rajnath Singh along with State BJP leaders had offered prayers to Devi Durga at Durga Bari Temple at Agartala.

Then the 'Vijay Rath Yatra' had kicked from Durga Bari premise with 'Cholo Paltai' slogan. 

State BJP Party President Biplab Deb accompanied Rajnath Singh in the Vijay Rath Yatra.

Rajnath Singh came in Tripura on yesterday evening and already addressed rallies in the evening.Today also Singh is holding multiple rallies.

Rajnath Singh is the Home Minister of India. He previously served as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and as a Cabinet Minister in the Vajpayee Government. 

Tripura Election, which is now in heavy contrast among CPI-M and BJP, is going to be conducted on February 18 whereas the result out is on March 3rd.
