AGARTALA, Jan 27 (TIWN): With a shocking note, Tripura Governor Tathagata Roy has declared that Tripura’s Rail Tracks are not safe and in this regard he has informed the NFR and also the state govt.
“Cases of sabotage of newly-laid rail track taking place in parts of Tripura. Removal of fish-plates and an attempt at sawing through a rail have been reported. I am in touch with General Manager,N F Railway and the state government”, Governor tweeted.
However, who has done this or where the incident has taken place, Roy didn't announce yet.
Such incidents were reported recently from various parts of the country, which has fueled the tension more.
Earlier also many attacks were done upon Tripura’s running trains and at Udaipur-Agartala route tracks were found damaged.
