Colombo, Sep 15 (TIWN) India colts came out with a brilliant bowling display to defeat Bangladesh by a mere five runs in a low-scoring thriller to win the U-19 Asia Cup here on Saturday.
Both the semifinals, scheduled on Thursday, had been washed out. India and Bangladesh U-19 sides made the final at the expense of Sri Lanka and Afghanistan after finishing on top of their respective groups. Earlier in the day, only three Indian batsmen managed to reach double-digit scores. Captain Dhruv Jurel and all-rounder Karan Lal made 33 and 37 respectively to take India to 106.
