SONAMURA/AGARTALA, Oct 29 (TIWN): A college student of Sonamura sub-division called in for police help after she found her SBI savings account was robbed of Rs. 93 thousand.
The massive swindle was apparently pulled out by yet-unidentified cyber criminals, the police said. They added that a manhunt was set afoot after FIR was lodged with the Jatrapur police station by Nurunahar Khatun, owner of the account.
However, the question of such a hefty amount lying in the bank account of Khatun has raised eyebrows in different quarters.
